Good news, everyone! There's a report on TV with some very bad news! QUOTE Ghostkill is currently broken across the board. We are currently looking into a work around. More information will be here as it comes in. Update - Saturday, January 19th: Unfortunately, at this time it appears NoDelay and KungFu are broken. As such, at this time I will be moving my attention to fixing the unresolved issues with Finglonger. Update - Monday, January 21st: It looks like I have found away to restore the functionality of KungFu. I will continue to look into this today and if in fact I have found KungFu again, a new MQ2Phoenix will be released this evening. Update - Monday, January 21st: After having spent many hours examining the findings from earlier in addition to exploring many other options. As I myself have not found anything at this time I am removing the platinum membership. If nodelay is found, the membership level will be restored.

Monday's Hotfix |

Hacking is a game of cat and mouse. We figure out how to attack from across the zone with no delay between swings and they put up with it for a while. Early Monday morning, however, SOE fought back. They removed the cornerstone of our killing things really fast from really far away. However, they obviously only found the problem through sheer luck. Why have I come to that conclusion? The entirety of the problem still remains in their code. To summarize: - There was a hotfix that broke GhostKill
- It was written by an idiot
- I've found a solution and am working on turning it into a plugin.
UpdateOur platinum plugins now contain a smidgin of a fix. This will stave off a complete lack of awesome and will allow you to gank all the mobs that no one else can at the moment. A full fix is coming tomorrow.

QUOTE There once was a MacroQuest2 build that wanted to get seen by the world. And while that is, as beginnings go, not entirely novel (for every tale about a MacroQuest2 build there ever was or will be could start in a similar manner) there was much about this young build and what happened to her that was unusual, although even she never knew the whole of it. The tale started, as many tales have started, in a forum post. It is on the eve of this fine Thursday that I have the pleasure of releasing yet another waste of bits. This version is, as all of my versions seem to be, lacking quite a few features that you are all begging for. All of these features are missing from the Silver / Gold build. Fear not, my lovely readers, I have been working all day on the foundations for such plug-ins and they will be in your hands before the sun sets again.

To Infinity And... |

I was built, sent topside and called back. Shown what I was, what I was capable of. In the end, that life I thought I had was something dreamed up and tattooed inside my head. That isn't my real family, you are. I promised you the world and gave you nothing. In return, what did you give me? Brutality.
I will soon make amends for my poor behavior and unkept promises, however. Soon I will show you all the secrets of this place, this city. The topside has corrupted me, made me search for something more valuable than the respect of an entire community. Fear not, my young little vipers, I will rise again.
Over the next week, now that I have bowed out of some of my more grandiose and unrewarding responsibilities, I shall begin sowing the seeds of corruption. And then, if we as a community can hit that bull's-eye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate!
Today begins my transformation. I have given those of you who trust me the most a look into my plans!

DeathToPixels.com launched last night to silent trumpets as I moved the site live and promptly fell asleep in the middle of slaving over a hot monkey brain. Now that I've had a good, long, electrode-induced rest I feel it is time to write a post that should have been made 9 hours ago. First, let me introduce myself: QUOTE I am the Architect. I created the matrix. I've been waiting for you. You have many questions, and although the process has altered your consciousness, you remain irrecoverably human. Ergo, some of my answers you will understand, and some of them you will not. Concordantly, while your first question may be the most pertinent, you may or may not realize it is also the most irrelevant. Since I am in control here, I know the question you're going to ask: "The matrix sounds complicated, but how does it work? I bet you don't even know..." QUOTE Of course I do! Very well: A large file cabinet rises from the ground beside him and he pulls out a manual. The linch-pin of the mechanics lies with the "stars-guard", a hexagon shaped device made of the hardest metal found in the galaxy. Once the stars-guard connects through the cross-panel know as the "cherpa". Then, once the cherpas are tightened to form a seal the planes are connected and the project is complete. Wait a minute, this isn't the manual to the ratmix. Damn! Why am I even saving this? He begins looking for the real manual. The handbook to my answering machine, the contacts for my cellphone, where the hell is the manual to this place? No matter, despite not being able to tell you how it works, I can still divulge plans for the near future. Over the next few days, the Silver / Gold MacroQuest2 build will receive more and more plugins as I both receive feature requests and implement my own wishes. All content added to the release will be authored by DeathToPixels staff and will not be a rip off of other people's code. I may write a nice rant someday as to why I will rewrite all plugins from scratch at a later date, suffice to say It's not suitable for this announcement. The Platinum MacroQuest2 build will also get updated to add more features to the existing plugin. At this time, I am not aware of any interesting plugins that can be used to extend the Platinum arsenal. However, should that fact change, I will add additional plug-ins.
